Open Source Beer

I heard about this on NPR yesterday, and it made my day.

A Danish college professor challenged his students to apply the open source model to a real-world, non-technological idea.

Their solution? An open source beer recipe. They named it Vores Øl, for "our beer." Read all about it here.

Just like other open source projects, you're free to make it, sell it, change it, as long as you then share the changes with the world.

Oh yeah, and you can drink it, too!
