Welcome to this week’s most random reference question! (An attempt to blog more often and to do something with the trivia clogging up my brain).
The question: I need a book about Metacom.
Sounds like a corporate communications firm, doesn’t it? Or maybe an astronomical observatory? Good thing the student remembered to tell me “he’s probably under King Philip.”
The fact: Metacom, an Indian chief called "King Philip" by the Plymouth colonists, led the Wampanoag tribe in the 1675 rebellion known as King Philip’s War. Learn more...
The randomness: Metacom had a brother called Wamsutta.
Like the sheets.
Tune in next Friday for another fun fact!

Hey Cutie.... How's your "boy-friend?" You are both twits for not keeping in better touch...
You're lucky I love you both SO much.
Anyhoo... I'm glad you're thinking of trying to blog even just ONCE a week... I always CHECK you know... Every day I'm online, I check.
Quick warning... A lot of your text on the blog is in ÓÈÎÓÏÒıˉØÙÒ¯ Text... Did you write it on Word, and then cut and paste? Just curious.
Love YOU!
