We have lift off!
The Space Shuttle Discovery's successful launch marks NASA's Return to Flight after 30 months. I got all choked up in the car this morning, listening to the live lift-off and the cheers from the control room.
After all the attacks this month, the fact that an international cooperation of this magnitude can actually happen restores my faith in humanity. Yay space!
