Announcing "The Daily Bind"

Well, you asked for it ... I've given in to peer pressure and will actually "talk" on my blog now, like everybody else does.

My original plan for this blog was to bring together my favorite library tools in the dual hopes that (1) I could find them again and (2) they could be found and used by others.

In essence, I didn't want to blog on my blog -- it opens up quite a can of privacy worms (how's that for an image?) to discuss the daily goings-on in libraries. Patrons have the right to ask me anything they want to without fear of becoming public anecdote fodder.

But there are other ways to share my days than to regale you with stories. Library work is a constant challenge, and a daily joy, and every day I get to go home asking more questions than I answered.

So I'll be using this space to tell you what I'm wondering about ... my, if you'll pardon the pun, daily bind.
